Hi everyone. I'm back!! (Is that groans I hear?) Bert has asked me to send out the following brief reminder on a few points. If you are coming to the Christmas dinner on Saturday 29th November and have not paid yet would you please bring your cheque/cash to next Saturday's meeting. Also don't forget to bring along that special turning to the dinner that will win you the Memorial Trophy for 2008. The ladies will do the judging. And if you have something to donate as a raffle prize it will be much appreciated. We have no demonstrator at the next meeting so if you have something to show and tell please bring it along. It's a do as you please day and the last one we held was enjoyed by everyone that came along. Some were saying that we should do it more often. Let's see if the turnout on Saturday confirms this. And congratulations to all those who took part at the Surrey Woodturners day at Mytchett. We won the trophy for the best table presentation again and also walked off with five certificates of commendation. Brilliant!! Graham
